Have you ever wondered how animals survive Manitoba’s winters? The mammals, insects, birds, reptiles, amphibians and even plants all manage to survive the winter using a wide variety of ways. Some migrate to warmer areas, others hibernate, and others have adapted unique ways of coping with the cold and lack of food. Learn more

baking, winter games and more. This camp has both indoor and outdoor components and is sure to please! For ages 6 to 9.

Canvasback Decoy Carving Workshop

Learn to carve your very own Canvasback drake decoy from award winning carvers. This three part course will teach you the classic North American art of decoy carving.
Pre-registration is required. Workshop fee is $80 for Oak Hammock members, $95 for non-members.
Birding Hour - Shorebirds
Discover the many different types of shorebirds in Manitoba. Pre-registration is required. Workshop fee is $5 plus admission.
