Discover the night time wonders of Oak Hammock Marsh with an overnight stay!
For a small facility fee, stay the night in our Willow Retreat, located right alongside the wetland, and take in some of our specialty evening programs. You can watch the sun set over the marsh and then explore the night and gaze at the stars.
The Willow Retreat is equipped with two washrooms and a full kitchen. Access to the BBQ and fire pit are included with your stay. Participants will need to bring their own mats and sleeping bags.
Note: A minimum of three group programs must be booked to stay overnight.
This special evening is great for youth groups!
Wetland Walk – Night or Day (All Ages)
Discover the more secretive nocturnal creatures of the marsh. Listen carefully to hear who goes bump in the night.
Critter Dipping
Grab a bucket and a dip net and head to the dock to search for life under the water. Use a magnifier to identify your critters and learn about the diversity of creatures found in the marsh!
Our specialty Dusk to Dawn programs or our regular education programs based on the average school grade of your group.
