Critter Dipping (May-October)
Explore underwater life by catching critters, then use magnifiers to identify your water bugs! Note: During winter months when Critter Dipping is unavailable, you have the choice of an additional program for your package choice.

Journey through the marsh and learn how it provides a great habitat for many species.

Animal Teachers
Through a sharing circle and interactive activities, discover how animals can be great teachers! Learn the importance of various wetland animals to Indigenous cultures.

Reptiles & Amphibians
Explore the similarities and differences between these two vertebrate groups. Find out why wetlands play such an important role, in these sensitive creatures’ lives.

Beavers & Muskrats
Learn about adaptations and special characteristics of beavers and muskrats that allow them to live in wetlands.

Owl Pellet Dissection *
Journey through an owl’s special hunting adaptations, and dissect an owl pellet! *Note: there is an additional cost, per pellet, for this program. We recommend 1 pellet for every 1-2 students.

Ecology Games
Learn about animal behaviours and interactions by playing high-energy, interactive games. Can be played outside, weather permitting.

Indigenous Games
Engage in fun, interactive, and challenging games that teach important skills and lessons. These games were, and still are, played by Indigenous groups in the area.
